Login Problems

Please try the options below if you’re having login problems, or are being taken to the wrong page after a login attempt:

Web browser

  1. Quit your browser and try reloading Hibox.

  2. Do a hard reset in your browser by clicking Ctrl + F5 on your keyboard on Windows and Command + Shift + R on a Mac.

  3. Clear your browser cache and cookies (clear everything, not just a specified period of time) and try reloading Hibox.

  4. Make sure your firewall is not blocking Hibox.

iPhone and iPad

  1. Restart your phone and try again.

  2. Please check if you have an updated version of the app on your phone.

  3. Check if notifications of app are on:

    1. Launch the “Settings” app on your phone.

    2. Then scroll to and tap “Notifications”

    3. Scroll down to the Hibox app, then tap it

    4. To curtail all notifications, toggle the button beside “Allow Notifications” to on

  4. Disable Do Not Disturb mode if it is turned on.

  5. Clear app cache

    1. Open the Settings app.

    2. Select “General” and then tap “iPhone Storage”

    3. Select the Hibox app and tap “Offload App”

    4. If there is no “Offload App” please check Settings -> Hibox app -> Tap the toggle next to Clear Cache

  6. If none of the above works, then please Delete and reinstall the Hibox app.

Android App

  1. Restart your phone and try again.

  2. Please check if you have the most updated version of the app on your phone.

  3. Check if notifications of the app are on:

    1. Open your Apps drawer.

    2. Locate the Hibox app.

    3. Long press on the app’s icon, then select “App info” from the menu

    4. In the App Info window, tap “Notifications”

    5. You’ll see a list of notification options available for the app. Scroll down to see anyone disabled and turn it on if it corresponds with what you’re looking for.

    6. Also, if you click on any notification category, you’ll be able to choose if you want the notification to be alerting or silent.

  4. Disable the “Do Not Disturb” mode if it is turned on.

  5. Clear app cache.

    1. Open your device Settings

    2. Click on “Apps & Notifications”

    3. Click on “Manage apps” (or view all apps) to display all apps installed on your phone.

    4. Now locate the app you’re not getting notifications from.

    5. Tap on “Storage & cache”, then “Clear cache”.

  6. Check Battery Optimization.

    1. Open your phone Settings app.

    2. Click on the search bar and enter “Battery optimization” or just “Battery”

    3. Now click “Battery optimization” from the list.

    4. In the battery optimization window, select the option to view all apps

    5. Now locate the Hibox app and disable battery optimization.

  7. Check whether notifications are blocked by an app you installed.

    1. Open your phone Settings app.

    2. Click Apps & notifications.

    3. Now select “Special app Access”

    4. Tap “Notification Access” from the list.

  8. If none of the above works, then please Uninstall and reinstall the Hibox app.
